This introductory quick-and-easy letterpress course will skim the surface of printing on Frontline Arts’ Vandercook letterpress using custom text and imagery. Each artist will learn the ins-and-outs of printing on the press, as well as how to create custom polymer plates –using your own text and designs- to print a suite of simple two-sided postcards to swap among classmates or drop in the mail! The perfect introduction to any upcoming letterpress course, this day of printing will wet your whistle to dive deeper into all the possibilities Vandercook letterpress printing can offer. Beginners welcome and encouraged!
