Scrubs Paper Meet Up
Sunday, June 6, 12pm-3pm
FREE - for ANYONE to attend!
Frontline Arts is having an impromptu Community Event for our Scrubs Paper Project to allow everyone involved to gather and cut scrubs to make handmade paper, and to show the process in-person and via livestream to all interested in the project, including healthcare workers. It's also a great opportunity for those who missed our mail-order deadline to purchase Scrubs Paper in-person for our first Scrubs Paper Project Virtual Exhibition- entries are due June 13th- click here for details: https://www.frontlinearts.org/call-for-entries-scrubs-paper-project-virtual-exhibition
Participants will be able to participate in cutting donated, no longer needed scrubs, as well as “pulling a sheet” of paper from a vat of pulp made from scrubs. That paper will be pressed and dried, and then used for community workshops for healthcare workers, as well as available for sale for our Scrubs Virtual Exhibition and personal use or gifts.
This is a FREE event at our location at 440 River Road in Branchburg, NJ. We will be outside, weather permitting, with hand-washing stations and sanitizer, and recommend mask-wearing for those entering the building. Those who are unable to attend in-person should still sign up, as they will receive a livestream link to watch the activities online, starting by 1pm.
Please contact Rachel at rachel@frontlinearts.org for any questions.
Deadline to sign up is Thursday, June 3rd, 2021 at 11:59pm
