Frontline Arts (& Warrior Writers NJ) invites you to "Cut Your Heart Out III/ A Mask that has Done its Deed” a collective fabric cutting, art sharing & poetry jam in our (Warrior Writers NJ) & Frontline Arts communities
We ask you to either share artwork, or write a poem/prose piece in advance to share at the gathering, following the prompts: "healing hearts, nature walks, raising butterflies/children, sing-alongs, spring flowers, fall colors, making art" or your own thing....
Riffing on our annual tradition of morbid Valentine’s Day themes — we’d like to gather around and cut up an old fabric mask (if you have one to spare, since we are all advised to upgrade- Omicron be gone!) and share thoughts, words and art pieces. We’ve gotten through yet another intense year of hardship and losses. Yet for this moment, let us again enjoy the collective shimmer of hope in the air. For art and spoken word submissions, your prompt is "mending broken hearts"
