Event Information

On April 30th, 2022 at 6:30pm, Frontline Arts is holding its first in-person annual benefit since 2019: “Pathways & Confluences” at The Valley at Neshanic Valley. It will take place at the beautiful Neshanic Valley Golf Course, where we will gather, celebrate and raise funds for our growing and nationally-recognized socially engaged arts programming that serves over 6,000 individuals a year; from Frontline Paper, to the Scrubs Paper Project to the Migration Project, plus educational classes in print & papermaking for adults and youth, studio services, groundbreaking exhibitions and so much more.

Frontline Arts is celebrating its achievements and perseverance through the pandemic, our future, and also the history of the organization and of the land itself. We will be recognizing and honoring the longstanding history of our honorees, the Somerset County Park Commission for supporting Frontline Arts (formerly known as the Printmaking Center/Council of New Jersey) for 44 years on the property of the Ralph T. Reeve Cultural Center, as well as honoring Janice Haggerty and The Merrill G. and Emita E. Hastings Foundation, as a longtime supporter of Frontline Arts (firstly of the Frontline Paper veteran program, formerly known as Combat Paper NJ), as well as general support of our operations and other social arts programs, especially through the pandemic. We will also be giving a Rising Star Award to Maria Mia Salazar of Claymore Vets for her incredible leadership and advocacy work with the veteran community, and will be opening with a Land Acknowledgement of Lenapehoking, the ancestral homelands of the Lenape Nation that we are standing upon, delivered by Karelle Hall, Nanticoke Tribal member and activist.

The benefit will be held inside the beautiful and open venue at The Valley at Neshanic Valley, powered by Delicious Heights. The indoor venue opens up into an outdoor patio to enjoy the early spring evening (weather permitting) and is a part of the Somerset County Park Commission. We will enjoy passed Hors D’oeuvres and a gourmet reception dinner, inclusive of dessert, plus a cash bar for beer and wine. There will be a silent auction of a wide variety items up for bid to benefit Frontline Arts’ programming, a wine pull station of quality bottles of wine, and a variety of arts activities and performances including poetry readings by Maya J. Sorini and an artist talk and demo by Mark Oldland. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting evening of celebration with Frontline Arts!
