Instructor Kath Yarkosky inking up a photo litho plate using a large roller

During this one-day course, we will

cover the fundamentals of photolithography, which is a process that imitates commercial printing and is recognized for its precision. Our goal is to create a small edition of prints. We will start by converting digital photographs or personal drawings into a positive film, which we will then expose onto a photosensitive plate. Next, we will process the plates and work together to print them on an etching press, where we will also learn the proper sponging and inking techniques.

Frontline Arts is now offering tuition assistance to eligible candidates. To apply, please fill out this form. All submissions must be completed by the sign up deadline.

Registration deadline is Sunday, August 6th at midnight
